Minecraft Potion Guide

Here is a list of Minecraft potions, their effects, and a brief description on how to make them.

Brewing Potions

• Awkward Potion - Used for Brewing Potions. Water Bottle with Nether Wart.
• Potion of Swiftness - Increases movement speed for 3:00 minutes. Awkward Potion With Sugar.
• Potion of Strength - Increases damage dealt for 3:00 minutes. Awkward Potion with Blaze Powder.
• Potion of Healing - Instantly restores 2 hearts. Awkward Potion with Glistering Melon.
• Potion of Regeneration - Restores 9 hearts over time. Lasts 45 seconds. Awkward Potion with Ghast Tear.
• Potion of Fire Resistance - No fire damage taken. Allows you to swim in lava. Lasts 3:00 minutes. Awkward Potion with Magma Cream.
• Potion of Night Vision - Brightens your sight for 3:00 minutes. Awkward Potion with Golden Carrot.
• Potion of Invisibility - Makes you invisible for 3:00 minutes. Potion of Night Vision with Fermented Spider Eye.

Enhancing Potions

• Effect Boost - Increases the effect of your potion, but decreases its duration. Any Potion with Glowstone Dust.
• Duration Boost - Increases the effect duration of the potion you use it on. Any Potion with Redstone Dust.
• Splash Effect - Transforms a normal potion into a throwable potion. Any Potion with Gunpowder.
